Dirk Schapeler — President and CEO Dirk joined AMI in April 2010 after the acquisition through Bayer MaterialScience. Prior to AMI Dirk was the Head of the Electro Active Polymers group at Bayer MaterialScience in Germany, which he built up and in late 2009 led to the acquisition project with AMI. Before that he was Program Manager at the New Business group and scouted the markets and applications for Electro Active Polymers, new materials for automotive and consumer electronics. Prior to Bayer MaterialScience Dirk held several program management and engineering positions at large automotive suppliers, successfully introducing innovative products to the market place. |

Will Sutherland - VP of Operations Will joined AMI in April 2005. Prior to AMI, Will was Vice President Engineering for Wolfe Engineering, Inc., a leading manufacturer of semiconductor equipment. He held management positions in engineering, marketing, and operations for several companies including Matheson Gas Products and Fluor Daniel. Will has led the development of many successful products and projects in the semiconductor, display, biopharm, chemical and energy industries. |

Tom Kridl – VP of Engineering Tom joined AMI in September 2007 as VP of Engineering. Prior to AMI Tom was the Engineering Program Manager for Skypilot Networks, a developer of low cost / high volume wireless infrastructure products. Prior to Skypilot he held senior management positions in engineering, and project management for several companies including Intel, Raychem, Ericsson Fiber, WaveSplitter and Siros Technologies. Tom has led the development of numerous successful products and projects in the wireless, LCD display, data storage and fiber optic industries. |

Xina Quan – VP of Materials Development Xina joined AMI in January 2008. Prior to AMI Xina was Vice President of Research and Development for Cambrios Technologies, a developer of nanocomposites for use in solution-processable transparent coatings. Prior to Cambrios she had technical and management responsibilities for several companies including Lumileds, Digilens and Bell Laboratories /Lucent Technologies. Xina has led the development and commercialization responsibilities for numerous optical components and devices used in the cell phone, telecommunications and optical fiber markets. |

David Humphreys – Director of Forward Marketing David joined AMI in early 2011 and has more than 20 years of international, operational and general management experience in consumer and enterprise technology sales. He has lived and worked in Europe, Asia and in the USA where he has held a number of sales management positions for companies such as Sun Microsystems, The Santa Cruz Operation, Packeteer and Global IP solutions. |

Andrew Cheng – Director of Marketing Andrew joined AMI in June 2010. He has more than 15 years of marketing, sales and general management experience with entrepreneurial organizations such as Apple Inc., SCORE! Educational Centers, Fortis Inc., and Leapfrog Innovations. He has also co-authored business case studies as well as been a business school guest lecturer. Andrew is currently overseeing AMI's strategic marketing process including its brand strategy and marketing plan. |
